Why must humans always destroy
Always ugly and despoil
Tearing the planet to suit their needs

Now this planet we call home

We came from the Earth to find a new planet
With more resources to take
Nugget was our target, the desert world
We didn't know of our mistake
The planet below awaits us
We're on a new frontier
To be the first to see this world

From here I see the planet rise
Our journey has begun
Taken down on to the land
Beneath an alien sun
I have travelled far beyond the stars
To somewhere that I don't belong
A planet that we haven't yet explored or known
But this is where it began
It isn't barren as we thought
All our planet's life and more
Now to me the Earth seems lifeless
Why didn't we see this before

That science and technology have failed our race
The species here are balanced with their world
Isolated in deep space
